Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ahmet Kutsi Hanbeyi kicked off to start the match. Leon Goretzka hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cordario Encina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordario Encina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordario Encina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 23rd minute of play. When Ahmet Paşa came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the April 25 SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Paşa couldn't finish the play. April 25 SC's Cordario Encina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Primitivo Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the April 25 SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Louis Alcantara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, April 25 SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Rocendo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cordario Encina was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 46thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but April 25 SC's Cordario Encina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Ahmet Paşa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Ahmet Paşa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Cordario Encina in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Rivera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. April 25 SC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anier Rocendo took the corner. The corner led April 25 SC's Anier Rocendo to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Rivera in the 71st minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cordario Encina came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 73rd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Rocendo in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ahmet Kutsi Hanbeyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ahmet Kutsi Hanbeyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anier Rocendo scored 2-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmet Kutsi Hanbeyi's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Kutsi Hanbeyi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when April 25 SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position.
