Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Armando Ceresoli got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Pallini in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Pardini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Foot Ball Club di Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Scarcella to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Pardini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Biagio Scoca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Armando Ceresoli notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 21 minutes, Ettore Scarcella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Foot Ball Club di Roma and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Foot Ball Club di Roma got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Scarcella. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 29 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Scoca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Scoca. But to his dismay, Biagio Scoca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Biagio Scoca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alessandro Anastasi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felix Montenegro, made in the 41st minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Alessandro Anastasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Scoca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Felix Montenegro in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alessandro Anastasi. In the 46th minute, Biagio Scoca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Biagio Scoca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Foot Ball Club di Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Cimino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Andino made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Niccolo Zaniolo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Aldo Pesce was substituted for Ettore Scarcella. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Ceresoli in the 72nd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Foot Ball Club di Roma defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Pardini. The Foot Ball Club di Roma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Pardini should have stopped the shot. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Alvaro Pardini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, Foot Ball Club di Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niccolo Zaniolo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ecuador lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
