Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adérito Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's Alexandre Eanes got a free kick in the 7th minute. Abram Sarmiento scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudemiro Tristão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goalkeeper Claudemiro Tristão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. With his leg Claudemiro Tristão managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudemiro Tristão having to make a save. With a little luck, GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Alexandre Eanes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudemiro Tristão having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Rebelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Claudemiro Tristão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 33rd minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by GD Almargense's Adérito Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Adérito Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Claudemiro Tristão in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 44th minute. A nice corner shot did that Luis Cazalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claudemiro Tristão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The wind increased when Celso Eiró made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GD Almargense the free kick. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Axel Montenegro hit a great ball. The supporters of Colombia booed when GD Almargense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Callum Doyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. When António Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GD Almargense's protests and gave António Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes GD Almargense got a freekick which was hit by António Sousa. Abram Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudemiro Tristão having to interfere. After some careless play in the GD Almargense defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudemiro Tristão. The GD Almargense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudemiro Tristão should have stopped the shot. GD Almargense made a substitution. Alexandre Valadares replaced Benedito Rebelo. Claudemiro Tristão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. But to his dismay, Ignacio Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Carlos Vides tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Alexandre Eanes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GD Almargense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 90th minute of the game, Ignacio Mastache landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 90 minutes into the game, Celso Eiró was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GD Almargense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. Colombia's Gael Capmany was substituted for Ignacio Mastache. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the GD Almargense players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
