Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sean Van Dijck quite easily take care of the ball. Luis Andino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Sean Van Dijck 70 minutes into the match. Limburg United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Felix Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Sean Van Dijck, making the score, 1-2. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Terwenhout came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
