In the 12th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Botgros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Horea Botgros. In the 15th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Domenec Torrent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peng Xi Bin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. When Rareș Stoiculescu fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Gallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 played minutes Domenec Torrent rounded Peru's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-2. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. In the 97th match minute, MXM Squad NS ★DAC★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Munteanu to maneuver through the defense. Peru's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
