The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Alan Moruga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 毛昂泉 quite easily take care of the ball. 毛昂泉 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute 王义竞 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 陶杰剑 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eliseo Noboa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 陶震星 went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by 毛傲远 in the 46th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when 毛傲远 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 【粤】资产过亿¥花钱如恒大¥ the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. When 陶杰剑 came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the 【粤】资产过亿¥花钱如恒大¥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 陶杰剑 couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, 王义竞 took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 【粤】资产过亿¥花钱如恒大¥ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
