Luca Espinar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjetil-André Garberg. Kjetil-André Garberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roald Fredheim in the 11th minute of play. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Sagene IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kjetil-André Garberg. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjetil-André Garberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjetil-André Garberg having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Kjetil-André Garberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Honduras booed when Sagene IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mons Kristiansen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjetil-André Garberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 32nd minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Sagene IF's Kjetil-André Garberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kjetil-André Garberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjetil-André Garberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute of the match. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjetil-André Garberg was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Milagros Cabal struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Kjetil-André Garberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After the first half Honduras were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kjetil-André Garberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute of the match. Mons Kristiansen kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sagene IF's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjetil-André Garberg came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjetil-André Garberg made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th match minute, Sagene IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mons Kristiansen to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sagene IF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Roald Fredheim hit a great ball. With his leg Kjetil-André Garberg managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 66th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjetil-André Garberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Kjetil-André Garberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Kjetil-André Garberg was a little too slow when Moises Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-6. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sagene IF's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kjetil-André Garberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Kjetil-André Garberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Kjetil-André Garberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 played minutes, Honduras's Sebastian Villa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kjetil-André Garberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Kjetil-André Garberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 94 played minutes Sagene IF got a freekick which was hit by Jan Hjelseth. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjetil-André Garberg saved Sagene IF from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sagene IF.
