Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Göran Olofsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Göran Olofsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A hard shot 8 in the game by Göran Olofsson from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. 9 minutes into the game, Greger Kullgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Snipers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. A collision led to FC Snipers getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. After 13th play minutes Göran Olofsson shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Roland Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 21st minute of play forced FC Snipers's goalkeeper Emanuel Brandin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Brandin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Snipers's Göran Olofsson in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Göran Olofsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Snipers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Göran Olofsson scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Göran Olofsson made the kick off in the second half. Arman Bremming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennart Svensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Brandin was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Kullgren in the 75th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Bremming, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Jarl Nässén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greger Kullgren was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when FC Snipers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greger Kullgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Alcocer came free, but Emanuel Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that FC Snipers were the better team. FC Snipers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
