Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Snipers's Göran Olofsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Groth having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Ivan Johansson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of play forced FC Snipers's goalkeeper Olov Groth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Olov Groth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Olofsson in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 52nd minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Snipers getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jarl Nässén hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 80th minute of the game was made by Ivan Johansson with Lennart Svensson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of FC Snipers booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Moises Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
