In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Gültiken. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Gültiken in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Gültiken might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Gültiken ran back to his position shaking his head. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Ali Gültiken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Ali Gültiken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Gültiken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ali Gültiken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Ali Gültiken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 81st minute Ali Gültiken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gora Dam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Gültiken came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Gültiken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
