Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Charles De Meur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germán Bersabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s Germán Bersabe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by György Márton in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. 27 minutes in the game, Patricio Costa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Charles De Meur having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s György Márton got a free kick in the 37th minute. Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Patricio Costa scored to the left of an out of position Charles De Meur, making the score, 1-1. When Frank Björkdahl came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Berkshire Harthaway FC. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Björkdahl couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Björkdahl in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Charles De Meur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles De Meur having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Berkshire Harthaway FC. got a freekick which was hit by György Márton. Frank Björkdahl came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. A collision led to Berkshire Harthaway FC. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. György Márton hit a great ball. Árpád Sóti hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, György Márton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Björkdahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sándor Markovits was slow to take the kick. During this time Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s corner Sándor Markovits fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Venezuela fans cheered their team off the field, for while Berkshire Harthaway FC. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
