Luis Cazalla hit a great ball. 俞平亦 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abram Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 25 minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 俞平亦. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 俞平亦 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of 俞平亦 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 俞平亦 was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-2. 张铮迅 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. 汪桑勇 made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. In the 54th minute, Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 俞平亦 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, 陶翀辰 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and 陶翀辰 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 汪桑勇's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. There was no doubt that Colombia were the better team. Colombia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
