Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Quentin Gonzalez took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Leopoldo de Queiroz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quentin Gonzalez. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Quentin Gonzalez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Leopoldo de Queiroz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Atlético Maravilla's Quentin Gonzalez in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After 39 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anders Söderlund who took care of the corner kick. After 41 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 46th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Maravilla's goalkeeper Zarando Lastras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Atlético Maravilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Salvador Gisbert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 66th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo de Queiroz in the 69th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Hidalgo scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético Maravilla's Shawn Seracino Inglott was substituted for Dionisio Hidalgo. Zarando Lastras was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 89th minute. The audience held their breath when Anders Söderlund in the 90th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonathan Ferrant's left hand side. In the 92nd minute, Shawn Seracino Inglott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2.
