Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Amílcar Taborda started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Sofiane Mourlon sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute, Edward Klawki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Falcons's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Miljenko Gošljević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Go Ahead Falcons's Miljenko Gošljević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 10th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amílcar Taborda's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Hüsmen Beşir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Go Ahead Falcons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Go Ahead Falcons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüsmen Beşir to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Miljenko Gošljević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Dracena in the 25th minute of play. Go Ahead Falcons's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sofiane Mourlon in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Maicon Campidelis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After 29 played minutes Go Ahead Falcons got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Campidelis. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes Daniel Zorita shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Miljenko Gošljević when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Miljenko Gošljević. Go Ahead Falcons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Go Ahead Falcons's Miljenko Gošljević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Miljenko Gošljević came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 48 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Falcons's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Miljenko Gošljević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute of play forced Go Ahead Falcons's goalkeeper Miljenko Gošljević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miljenko Gošljević made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Miljenko Gošljević when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 63 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Taborda, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Go Ahead Falcons's Martin Vizek was substituted for Markus Odvárka. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Miljenko Gošljević in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Miljenko Gošljević to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Sancho in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miljenko Gošljević, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Go Ahead Falcons made a substitution. Andrija Đupić replaced 郑斐响. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Miljenko Gošljević to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Zorita's late challenge caught a Go Ahead Falcons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Zorita helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Moutinho in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Go Ahead Falcons fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
