The audience thought a goal was coming when Ksawery Pilarczyk got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miromir Pazura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 19th minute of play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Gumisie Rybnik players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Miromir Pazura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute of the match. Gumisie Rybnik's Miromir Pazura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute Tobiasz Blicharz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Ksawery Pilarczyk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Borys Banach was the one to do the kick off. If Tobiasz Blicharz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Borys Banach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute Borys Banach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ksawery Pilarczyk might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ksawery Pilarczyk ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Pilarczyk came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Banach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Pazura having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ksawery Pilarczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
