Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 10th minute. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredão de Medeiros having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Sandinense ADF's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão de Medeiros came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Patricio Costa made a precise shot to the right of Alfredão de Medeiros. Sandinense ADF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Alfredão de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of the match. Joel Penha charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Penha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 34 minutes into the game, Simão Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandinense ADF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Carioca's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sandinense ADF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Arnaldo Carioca hit a great ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sandinense ADF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Alfredão de Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramón Hoffmann during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sandinense ADF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredão de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. After 84th play minutes Tomas Illescas shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Alfredão de Medeiros and just under the crossbar into goal. Arnaldo Carioca got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Egídio Vale. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sandinense ADF's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredão de Medeiros stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Illescas came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 91 minute. In the 98th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Venezuela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sandinense ADF.
