When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Louis Braadbøl took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ricardo Zorita to make any attempt to save it. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Wincenty Buczko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. 27 minutes into the match, Koszele SSA's Pape Bom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match Pape Bom climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Ricardo Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pape Bom in the 35th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Louis Braadbøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pio Zielinski in the 39th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Koszele SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Henryk to maneuver through the defense. Moises Fernandino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wincenty Buczko having to make a save. Pape Bom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pape Bom, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Braadbøl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pape Bom, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute, Pio Zielinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Koszele SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 87 minutes into the match, Pio Zielinski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pio Zielinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, Andrzej Faron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Koszele SSA fully deserved thier win.
