The audience thought a goal was coming when Ennio Bertini got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alessandro Ronconi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Basaldella AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Bianco Doris made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Ronconi in the 56th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Basaldella AFC got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Marinetti. When Basaldella AFC's Alessandro Ronconi in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bianco Doris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Ronconi in the 80th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Bottega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Bottega succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bianco Doris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Doris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
