Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Furkan Çakıroğlu in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play forced GÖKHAN FK's goalkeeper Zikri Umar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zikri Umar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muammer Bedel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Zikri Umar however easily saved by the left post. After 78 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zikri Umar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of GÖKHAN FK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by GÖKHAN FK's Furkan Çakıroğlu. But to his dismay, Furkan Çakıroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zikri Umar having to interfere.
