Gabriel Martinelli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. Ryttartorpets FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 13 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Patrik Linqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ryttartorpets FF made a substitution. Ove Kinell replaced Hubert Gruber. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Martinelli in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Martinelli in the 19th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Martinelli in the 25th minute of the match. If Bo Baand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Gabriel Martinelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 36th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ryttartorpets FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Gabriel Martinelli put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryttartorpets FF made a substitution. Esbjörn Kjellkvist replaced Jon Nilsson. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Martinelli in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Martinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanley Santos made a great header on Ryttartorpets FF's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Benno Bonk kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Baand came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benno Bonk in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Bo Baand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Patrik Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gabriel Martinelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gabriel Martinelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ryttartorpets FF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Linqvist saved Ryttartorpets FF from getting behind. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Taco Oldenborger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ryttartorpets FF getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Benno Bonk hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrik Linqvist skillfully saved the ball. If Bo Baand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Kinell struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ryttartorpets FF.
