Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Ioan Papadima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristinel Patriciu in the 9th minute. When Bogdan Pârlog fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's protests and gave Bogdan Pârlog a yellow card for diving instead. Bogdan Pârlog kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some careless play in the GoooooooooooooooooooooooL defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ioan Papadima. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ioan Papadima should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play forced GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Ioan Papadima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioan Papadima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 26th minute of play. Ioan Papadima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Bogătean in the 32nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioan Papadima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th match minute, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Beniuc to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ioan Papadima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ioan Papadima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pavel Tăutu to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Tăutu in the 52nd minute of play. Cristinel Patriciu took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Ioan Papadima in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Răzvan Gugulanu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ioan Papadima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Ioan Papadima came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Ioan Papadima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save GoooooooooooooooooooooooL from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ioan Papadima having to interfere. In the 74th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Papadima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Bogătean in the 78th minute of play. Ioan Papadima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ioan Papadima quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. If Pavel Tăutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Ioan Papadima to make any attempt to save it. In the 88th match minute, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Răzvan Gugulanu to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ioan Papadima firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 96th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Mexico played a much better game than GoooooooooooooooooooooooL and deserved their victory. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
