Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jon Moreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute of the match, Jon Moreira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in UD Linares's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergi Urquijo came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. 16 minutes in the game, Zuberoa Zamora fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergi Urquijo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Chano Millán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after UD Linares's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Salvador Gisbert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sergi Urquijo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 33 minutes, Kemen Pantoja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Linares's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kemen Pantoja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. UD Linares's Sergi Urquijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. UD Linares's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Fabricio Diaz with Oliverio Revuelta as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sergi Urquijo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 81st minute. Firmin Lombard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, UD Linares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Diaz to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Diaz during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee ended the match the UD Linares players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
