Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play forced Super Team's goalkeeper Toader Purcărete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Toader Purcărete despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Toader Purcărete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Toader Purcărete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Marius Gherghe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Super Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Toader Purcărete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Super Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. 33 minutes into the match, Super Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Toader Purcărete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Purcărete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Purcărete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Super Team's Toader Purcărete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Super Team from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Laércio Barbosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Super Team's players had a chance to rest. Super Team's Laércio Barbosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Toader Purcărete in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toader Purcărete made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Super Team's Marius Gherghe got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Ciprian Romaşcanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Super Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Lisewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
