Despite this Rüştü Rencber quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rüştü Rencber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoni Tipinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüştü Rencber. Niebiański&Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, Jerzy Gorgoń threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rüştü Rencber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Antoni Tipinski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Antoni Tipinski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 27th minute. Antoni Tipinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antoni Tipinski ran back to his position shaking his head. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Tipinski in the 31st minute of play. Jerzy Gorgoń made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Antoni Tipinski however managed to control. Antoni Tipinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüştü Rencber having to interfere. Niebiański&Team's Wieslaw Munko was substituted for Walery Majorski. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Tipinski in the 68th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jerzy Gorgoń in the 95 minute of the game. Peru were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
