In the 7th minute Gandalf Bilbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Moerhuize got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Bigotte. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gandalf Bilbo in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Constantijn Meijers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Valdir Bigotte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdir Bigotte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Nilton Santos in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Constantijn Meijers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute of the match. With his leg Constantijn Meijers managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantijn Meijers saved Moerhuize from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Cléberson Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantijn Meijers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute of play. When Antoni Dziatkowicz came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Moerhuize fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoni Dziatkowicz couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gandalf Bilbo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nilton Santos in the 43 minute of the game. Constantijn Meijers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Antoni Dziatkowicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

53 minutes into the game, Gandalf Bilbo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Gandalf Bilbo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Moerhuize's Constantijn Meijers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 57th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantijn Meijers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gandalf Bilbo came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lautaro Navarro could save by the left post. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Gandalf Bilbo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gandalf Bilbo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. At last the ball reached Luca Espinar at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Moerhuize. 2-5. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moerhuize's goalie prevented a goal. Constantijn Meijers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantijn Meijers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Constantijn Meijers. Moerhuize's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5.
