Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Buckingham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Hu Fan Yi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Buckingham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Guamán Olozaga. After 12 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hu Fan Yi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guamán Olozaga in the 15th minute of play. Gheorghe Blajin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Marcial Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hu Fan Yi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Mihail Gabor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hu Fan Yi came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Hu Fan Yi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 41st minute of the match. Jude Bowen's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jude Bowen helped the player get up and apologised. The Buckingham AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guamán Olozaga to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Jardel Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Jardel Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Hu Fan Yi in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Buckingham AFC's Hu Fan Yi got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Guamán Olozaga came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Hu Fan Yi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Blajin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thom Douglas kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Hu Fan Yi in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guamán Olozaga in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buckingham AFC were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gheorghe Blajin took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Guamán Olozaga heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Buckingham AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
