Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Chernolνtsa FC's Theofanis Mitseas got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Theofanis Mitseas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theofanis Mitseas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanos Bouloubasis's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanos Bouloubasis helped the player get up and apologised. Thanos Bouloubasis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Chernolνtsa FC's Theofanis Mitseas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Chernolνtsa FC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Valentinos Adamiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. 31 minutes into the match, Chernolνtsa FC's goalkeeper Theofanis Mitseas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentinos Adamiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theofanis Mitseas stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Zorita came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. In the 38th minute, Valentinos Adamiadis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Mitseas having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Chernolνtsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Theofanis Mitseas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Valentinos Adamiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michalis Aggelopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michalis Aggelopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Chernolνtsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanos Bouloubasis to maneuver through the defense. Luis Andino's late challenge caught a Chernolνtsa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Andino helped the player get up and apologised. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Valentinos Adamiadis came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Chernolνtsa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentinos Adamiadis couldn't finish the play. Theofanis Mitseas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Theofanis Mitseas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theofanis Mitseas was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 83rd minute Valentinos Adamiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Michalis Aggelopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chernolνtsa FC's protests and gave Michalis Aggelopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Michalis Aggelopoulos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Theofanis Mitseas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's supporters were highly satisfied with the result.
