Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gergely Balázs got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Carneiro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubén-Darío Insúa charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubén-Darío Insúa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rubén-Darío Insúa kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Norman Grieve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norman Grieve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Grnd Juventus NNNL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Trusov to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Grnd Juventus NNNL's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gergely Balázs, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. When Grnd Juventus NNNL's Gergely Balázs in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 31st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norman Grieve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Grnd Juventus NNNL's Norman Grieve. Norman Grieve was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Norman Grieve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Gergely Balázs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute of the match, Patrick Carneiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. From a short distance, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, in the 54th minute, tried to place the ball behind Norman Grieve, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Balázs in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Gergely Balázs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Grieve having to interfere. Grnd Juventus NNNL's Rubén-Darío Insúa got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Rubén-Darío Insúa off the ground. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Grnd Juventus NNNL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubén-Darío Insúa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norman Grieve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Grnd Juventus NNNL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Norman Grieve made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th play minute Agustín Saelices came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Norman Grieve. 2-2. Grnd Juventus NNNL's Ádám Soós was substituted for Gergely Balázs. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Norman Grieve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ádám Soós in the 85th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Norman Grieve made a huge save. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grnd Juventus NNNL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 93rdth minute of the game Ádám Soós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Grnd Juventus NNNL support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
