Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Ove Kihlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced Stolpskottet Väsby BK's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Kihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Hamnberg in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Stolpskottet Väsby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Jens-Ove Kihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Stolpskottet Väsby BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Västlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Jens-Ove Kihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 67th minute of play. Jens-Ove Kihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Jens-Ove Kihlberg in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Kihlberg having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stolpskottet Väsby BK the free kick. With a little luck, Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Jens-Ove Kihlberg got control of the ball when Antonio Arias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador played a much better game than Stolpskottet Väsby BK and deserved their victory. The Stolpskottet Väsby BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
