The corner led Chile's Orlando Casaus to fire away a dangerous shot which Natalio Peter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Orlando Casaus had several of the Gocław Wilga Warszawa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Natalio Peter as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Michal Jaraczewski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pedro Indiano, made in the 24th minute of the game. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugon Brzakala, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Natalio Peter made a huge save. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Natalio Peter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
