Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SIMvergüenzas's Sugih Linggawarman got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Milagros Fraga came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beto Rodríguez could save by the left post. In the 12th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sugih Linggawarman in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Sugih Linggawarman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper Beto Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sugih Linggawarman in the 24th minute of play. SIMvergüenzas were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lei Ling Zheng took the corner. The corner ended in Tarvo Hautaniemi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Beto Rodríguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Beto Rodríguez made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Beto Rodríguez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 44 minutes into the match, SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper Beto Rodríguez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Sugih Linggawarman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sugih Linggawarman in the 47th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half SIMvergüenzas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sugih Linggawarman to make the kick off. Alonso Berganza got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alonso Berganza. 62 minutes into the match, SIMvergüenzas's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Beto Rodríguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beto Rodríguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Rodríguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 70th minute of play forced SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper Beto Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SIMvergüenzas made a substitution. Xacobo Harroyo replaced Sugih Linggawarman. Peru were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after SIMvergüenzas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Severino Encina kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 78th minute of play forced SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper Beto Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beto Rodríguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Xacobo Harroyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SIMvergüenzas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Beto Rodríguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SIMvergüenzas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
