An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjetil Christoffersen in the 4th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ole-Jostein Vikane struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ku Kost IL. If Georg Knutsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjetil Christoffersen in the 8th minute of play. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ku Kost IL's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Bertel Elden came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theodor Giske's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theodor Giske helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ku Kost IL's Theodor Giske got a free kick in the 18th minute. Hans-Erik Isdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Milagros Cabal fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Milagros Cabal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ku Kost IL booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Hans-Erik Isdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sebastian Villa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hans-Erik Isdal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 42 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal. Hans-Erik Isdal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hans-Erik Isdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Ku Kost IL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. Christian Sancho made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal managed to reach the ball for a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Hans-Erik Isdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Erik Isdal having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Kjetil Christoffersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Johannes Kanestrøm with Georg Knutsen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 67th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Bertel Elden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th match minute, Ku Kost IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodor Giske to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ku Kost IL's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans-Erik Isdal came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjetil Christoffersen's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Ku Kost IL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hans-Erik Isdal. Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Ku Kost IL from getting a goal against them. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hans-Erik Isdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Emanuel Ocampo charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Ocampo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. The Ku Kost IL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
