The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonso Berganza during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 8th minute. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredinho Gerber came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 21st minute. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredinho Gerber quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sergio Mustafa might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Mustafa ran back to his position shaking his head. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Mustafa in the 31st minute of play. Alfredinho Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 36th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Sergio Mustafa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Magne Söderberg in the 45 minute of the game.

Alfredinho Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Mustafa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute C.U.E. DE COMERCIO were awarded a corner. Seb Gentiletti went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 56th minute of the match, Sergio Mustafa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sebastião Gentiletti hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO made a substitution. Salvador Romano replaced Sergio Mustafa. A collision led to C.U.E. DE COMERCIO getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Sebastião Gentiletti hit a great ball. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 61st minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Romano came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredinho Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Romano came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes C.U.E. DE COMERCIO got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Senesi. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. A collision led to C.U.E. DE COMERCIO getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Marcos Senesi hit a great ball. Isaac Incendio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Eliseo Mina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredinho Gerber. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match Peru got a corner. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Alfredinho Gerber despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peru's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
