A collision led to KP Chemik Police getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bernard Bobrowski hit a great ball. Roger Federer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when KP Chemik Police was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Huratiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. KP Chemik Police's Roger Federer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save KP Chemik Police from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KP Chemik Police the free kick. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger Federer came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. Roger Federer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when KP Chemik Police was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Bobrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Federer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Federer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Federer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 56th minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roger Federer quite easily take care of the ball. In the 58th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Roger Federer. KP Chemik Police's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Robert Dziedziak kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roger Federer. KP Chemik Police's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 71 played minutes KP Chemik Police got a freekick which was hit by Julian Augustyniak. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Zurawski in the 74th minute of play. Roger Federer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 76th minute of the match. Roger Federer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's Luca Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roger Federer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 89th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the KP Chemik Police defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Federer. The KP Chemik Police fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Federer should have stopped the shot.
