The supporters of Deportivo Craques fc booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Tudor Ponor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Sampaio in the 17th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Sampaio in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 21st minute. Tudor Ponor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 28th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tudor Ponor got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-1 in the right cross in the 29th match minute before Jonathan Ferrant had time to react. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Craques fc's Ediberto Sampaio. But to his dismay, Ediberto Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the last second Jonathan Ferrant throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jimeno Urritz in the 41stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Tudor Ponor sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Ponor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Radomil Zbydniowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Deportivo Craques fc's Danilo Salgado shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Danilo Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Craques fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
