Alfredinho Gerber came out of the goal and Edward Mcdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Diego Bradley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When USA's Monty Rogers in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalie prevented a goal. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredinho Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 22nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the C.U.E. DE COMERCIO defense, Cassius Byrne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredinho Gerber. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredinho Gerber should have stopped the shot. Alfredinho Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seb Gentiletti struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.U.E. DE COMERCIO. In the 32nd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Mustafa in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Alfredinho Gerber made a huge save. Alfredinho Gerber made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Francisco Taveira was substituted for Xian J.J.. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO made a substitution. Salvador Romano replaced Sergio Mustafa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Nikola in the 62nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the USA defense, Teodoro Nikola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Romano in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Zach Harrison had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 78 played minutes C.U.E. DE COMERCIO got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Taveira. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. The supporters of USA booed when C.U.E. DE COMERCIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Taveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zach Harrison came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zach Harrison couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 81st minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Alfredinho Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Taveira in the 83rd minute of play. In the 89th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredinho Gerber was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sam Campbell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 92 minute of play.
