Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in RKS Raków Cz-wa's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukasz Debkowski came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by RKS Raków Cz-wa's Andreas Schätzle. But to his dismay, Andreas Schätzle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 9th minute, Damon Hird reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 2-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ebi Smolarek in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Andreas Schätzle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RKS Raków Cz-wa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when RKS Raków Cz-wa's Ebi Smolarek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 21 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Schätzle. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lukasz Debkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RKS Raków Cz-wa the free kick. After 27 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Hird, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeusz Dzierwa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Schätzle in the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ebi Smolarek in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. The corner led to RKS Raków Cz-wa's Tadeusz Dzierwa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Ferrant during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 38th minute. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Axel Tasis put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lukasz Debkowski. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ebi Smolarek made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Schätzle in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lukasz Debkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Abel Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the RKS Raków Cz-wa players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Lautaro Puig might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukasz Debkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Puig ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute, Tadeusz Dzierwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Schätzle in the 76th minute of play. Waclaw Kensicki kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Waclaw Kensicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Waclaw Kensicki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lukasz Debkowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliseo Noboa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 90 minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Kensicki in the 93rd minute of play. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Lukasz Debkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica.
