In the 14th match minute, Husaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Brudzisz to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Domala in the 22nd minute of the match. Franciszek Brudzisz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslaw Dylla in the 24th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 38th minute. Radoslaw Dylla took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With an all-out effort, Costa Rica's Radowit Wozniak threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Noboa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franciszek Brudzisz in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Domala came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Husaria were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Noboa made a kick off. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Radowit Wozniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Wozniak having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Husaria's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Radowit Wozniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Domala, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Marian Domala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-5 in the 74 minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. In the 80th minute Marian Domala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franciszek Brudzisz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Domala, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Radoslaw Dylla in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 94 minutes into the game, Radoslaw Dylla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
