Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Öllsjö FC's Erivaldo Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 5th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Massa in the 8th minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Öllsjö FC's Marian Michna. But to his dismay, Marian Michna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 20th minute, but Julio Vera got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ecuador hanging dry this time. In the 21st minute Adriano Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erivaldo Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erivaldo Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 30th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Massa in the 35th minute of play. Erivaldo Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erivaldo Netto. Erivaldo Netto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adriano Massa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Öllsjö FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Billström to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Öllsjö FC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 59th minute Öllsjö FC were awarded a corner. Karl-Åke Håkansson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Öllsjö FC's Karl-Åke Håkansson to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erivaldo Netto. That made the score 1-3 in the 66 minute of play. Öllsjö FC made a substitution. Jan-Ove Jernberg replaced Algot Odin. In the 70th minute Adriano Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Öllsjö FC's Adriano Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erivaldo Netto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Öllsjö FC's Erivaldo Netto got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Per Billström hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Öllsjö FC made a substitution. Henry Löfgren replaced Folke Gregersson. Erivaldo Netto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Öllsjö FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Cristian Sancho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
