Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rick Theisens kicked off to start the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serge Spiljard in the 3rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serge Spiljard in the 8th minute of play. Ate van de Meerakker kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match, Serge Spiljard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 15 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Revenge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Revenge made a substitution. Co Gronden replaced Cees Masker. In the 17th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gijs ter Averst. Gijs ter Averst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Rick Theisens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-1. After a rather tough play, Revenge's Serge Spiljard got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 39th minute. Patricio Costa scored 2-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gijs ter Averst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Tim Daelemans struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revenge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 53rd minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Gijs ter Averst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gijs ter Averst made a huge save. After 59 played minutes Revenge got a freekick which was hit by Ate van de Meerakker. Ate van de Meerakker made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Co Gronden immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Revenge's Marco Arts got a free kick in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Gijs ter Averst in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the game, Co Gronden threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 74 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gijs ter Averst, 2-3. After 77 played minutes Revenge got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Robbermond. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 83rd minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Gijs ter Averst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
