Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 5 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Franco Ottavi who took care of the corner kick. In the 9th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Acep Hasanuddin scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12 played minutes Canevare got a freekick which was hit by Acep Hasanuddin. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mei Zhen Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Canevare's Acep Hasanuddin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acep Hasanuddin in the 29th minute of play. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Acep Hasanuddin's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mei Zhen Kun in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mei Zhen Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Acep Hasanuddin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canevare fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 48th minute of the match Canevare got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franco Ottavi ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mei Zhen Kun to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Canevare's Mei Zhen Kun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Amerigo Bosso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Mei Zhen Kun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Mei Zhen Kun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Andrea Mascia might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrea Mascia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Canevare's Mei Zhen Kun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Canevare's Acep Hasanuddin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-9 after 68 minutes of play. Mei Zhen Kun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mei Zhen Kun in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mei Zhen Kun in the 76th minute of play. Mei Zhen Kun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Mei Zhen Kun slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 76th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Zhen Kun in the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Franco Ottavi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canevare's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Ottavi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canevare the free kick. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mei Zhen Kun in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mei Zhen Kun. In the 94th minute Acep Hasanuddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Mei Zhen Kun sent off a good shot on target. Canevare's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
