The supporters of Bolivia booed when Ostdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. The wind increased when Dawid Matela made the kick off in the second half. Ostdorf's Kazimierz Gdowik got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Fontirroig scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Szczepan Polkoski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dawid Matela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kazimierz Gdowik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Kazimierz Gdowik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Szczepan Polkoski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 73rd minute of the match. Dawid Matela hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Kazimierz Gdowik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ostdorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Kazimierz Gdowik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Polkoski having to interfere. Szczepan Polkoski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 89th minute of play. Kazimierz Gdowik struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Camilo Freixa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ostdorf. Ostdorf's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
