After 17 played minutes Cimone got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Picciano. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Andrea Campo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrea Campo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panama! Panama:s Marcos Cotilla showed great skill when he stopped Alex Cicchetti:s penalty. A collision led to Cimone getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Enrico Picciano hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrea Campo was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Cimone's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Andrea Campo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Panama booed when Cimone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Restaino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andrea Campo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 82nd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Campo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 84th minute of play forced Cimone's goalkeeper Andrea Campo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea Campo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
