Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hans Hoezen made the kick off which started today's match. Jan de Cler hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Evans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Evans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 12th minute of the match Han Wotte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Hans Hoezen scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Corky United's Hans Hoezen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Barnaba Zakrzewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corky United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnaba Zakrzewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan de Cler made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marnix Palsma. 29 minutes into the match, Corky United's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Rafael Evans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Evans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of the match. Rafael Evans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Hans Hoezen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 41st playminute. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rafael Evans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Corky United booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Corky United's goalkeeper Rafael Evans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Jonathan Ferrant went to the wrong direction when Han Wotte was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Salvador Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Corky United booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Hoezen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Barnaba Zakrzewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Barnaba Zakrzewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Zakrzewski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Evans having to interfere. Rafael Evans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Corky United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Corky United's Rafael Evans managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Corky United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joshua Secada almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Corky United's Rafael Evans did a great save. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Zakrzewski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Corky United had played much better football throughout.
