Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Dimitriu made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Daniel Stângã managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Truseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Stângã was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Daniel Dimitriu made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Daniel Stângã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Dimitriu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Barbãneagrã didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Vrednic came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Dimitriu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's attentive Salvador Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Emilian Vârtosu made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goalkeeper Octavian Tâmbalari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Stângã got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavian Tâmbalari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Florin Vrednic got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Vladimir Barbãneagrã threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Vladimir Barbãneagrã got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Emilian Vârtosu. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Tâmbalari having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Truseni's Octavian Tâmbalari. Octavian Tâmbalari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Dimitriu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. The long shot by Vadim Macovei in the 80th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tudor Fratea lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 83rd minute, one of FC Truseni:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Truseni. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Octavian Tâmbalari. 3-1. The throw-in from Vladimir Barbãneagrã in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Octavian Tâmbalari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Emilian Vârtosu got a free kick in the 97th minute.
