An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Leguizamo in the 5th minute of play forced FC VeLoCiRaPtOr's goalkeeper Yahya Erdoğdu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC VeLoCiRaPtOr the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 6th minute. Anıl Mücahit Atılay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Mithat Gurbet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Anıl Mücahit Atılay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC VeLoCiRaPtOr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anıl Mücahit Atılay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Moises Fernandino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 21st minute of the game Bumin Hizanlı made a throw-in which Atıf Nesip played forward. 40 minutes into the game, Abram Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC VeLoCiRaPtOr the free kick. Ricardo Zorita was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mithat Gurbet. Anıl Mücahit Atılay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Atıf Nesip came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mithat Gurbet, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atıf Nesip in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atıf Nesip in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Atıf Nesip struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC VeLoCiRaPtOr. 69 minutes into the match, FC VeLoCiRaPtOr's Anıl Mücahit Atılay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Atıf Nesip got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Anıl Mücahit Atılay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Moises Fernandino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahmut Yula, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atıf Nesip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Atıf Nesip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atıf Nesip blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. Atıf Nesip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
