Fabricio Gau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ramblones 91218's Benjamin Platon got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Joaquin Onofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Platon in the 22nd minute. Ubaldo Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Ramblones 91218 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Ramblones 91218's Joaquin Onofre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Onofre came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Pueblo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramblones 91218. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Ubaldo Pueblo made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th minute, Ubaldo Pueblo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Onofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Pueblo in the 64th minute of the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ubaldo Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute Benjamin Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Marcos Inautzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ramblones 91218 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1.
