Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. La Mitad Mas Uno's Sálvio Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Sálvio Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a defensive mix-up in La Mitad Mas Uno's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sálvio Ramalho came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sálvio Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sálvio Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. Sálvio Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Sálvio Ramalho. La Mitad Mas Uno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after La Mitad Mas Uno's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that La Mitad Mas Uno's Sálvio Ramalho managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 35th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kauã Nóbrega got free with Julio Vera in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sálvio Ramalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sálvio Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauã Nóbrega was the one to do the kick off. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Nóbrega in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 minutes La Mitad Mas Uno's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Sálvio Ramalho made a huge save. In the 81st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sálvio Ramalho quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, La Mitad Mas Uno's Denílson Cavalcante got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
