The supporters of Los Frogos booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christoffer Mårtensson in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Haldun Bilen might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haldun Bilen ran back to his position shaking his head. Haldun Bilen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Christoffer Mårtensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. A collision led to Los Frogos getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Zhuo Jian Wei hit a great ball. After taking down the ball on Los Frogos's corner Tomas Godholm fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute, Christoffer Mårtensson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Mårtensson in the 28th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffer Mårtensson went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 36 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Los Frogos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Frogos booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes in the game Zhuo Jian Wei got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mattias Jansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joshua Secada hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience held their breath when Tomas Godholm in the 56th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonathan Ferrant's left hand side. Tomas Godholm kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Christoffer Mårtensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Christoffer Mårtensson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Frogos's Joseph Johansson was substituted for Christian Vallin. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Christoffer Mårtensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Christoffer Mårtensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoffer Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattias Jansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Mårtensson in the 82nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Ekblom went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. If Mieszko Lichorobiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Christoffer Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mattias Jansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 98th minute Los Frogos were awarded a corner. Tomas Godholm went to the cornerflag to take it. Los Frogos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
