Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 孔磊傲 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Pieter Van Landewijck kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If King Eken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Sancho made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Brugge's Gunter Mesmaekers. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stein Spoelberch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Brugge's King Eken was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 孔磊傲 made a kick off. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. 62 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Stein Spoelberch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孔磊傲 in the 74th minute of play. 孔磊傲 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Zhuo Di Yao. Club Brugge made a substitution. Jan-Simon Elsen replaced 孔磊傲. In the 81st match minute, Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhuo Di Yao to maneuver through the defense. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stein Spoelberch having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Stein Spoelberch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stein Spoelberch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luca Espinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Stein Spoelberch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stein Spoelberch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 94th minute of play.
